A shareholder and director of Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C., Thomas Buffamante, CPA is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and has practiced in public accounting continuously since that time. With a diverse background that reflects knowledge in the areas of accounting, taxation and consulting, Tom’s strengths are primarily in the areas of individual tax planning, estate planning, business and personal financial planning.

Tom’s professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Cattaraugus County IDA, and Board Member and Finance Audit and Compliance Committee Member of the Upper Allegheny Health System.

An avid golfer, Tom is a long-time member of the Bartlett Country Club and member and treasurer of Elkdale Country Club. It’s no wonder Tom’s No. 1 bucket list item is to hit the links one day in Scotland and Ireland.
